SEC Delays Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, Setting New Deadline

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has sought an extension for its decision on approving or rejecting spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs. Currently, the ETF candidates for both cryptocurrencies are in a state of anticipation, awaiting a final decision in 2024.
The SEC has officially postponed its approval process for Spot Bitcoin and Ethereum Futures ETF applications, filing for an extension on November 15.
